Regulation on the use of cookies

This Cookies Policy is an integral part of the Legal Notice and Privacy Policy of Bvalve Flow Systems And Controls, S.L. By accessing and browsing on this website, or using its services, the User accepts the General Terms and Conditions set out in our Legal Notice (and, therefore, the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy). Please read these carefully.

Thank you for visiting us. We hope you enjoy the best experience possible on our website, for which reason we’ve written this Cookies Policy as transparently as possible.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded onto the device used by the user when they visit a website. Their main purpose is to recognise the user every time they access www.bvalve.es. In addition, they allow us to improve our website’s quality and usability.

Cookies are essential to Internet operations; they do not harm the user’s equipment/device and, if they are enabled in the user’s browser settings, they help us to identify and resolve any potential operational issues on www.bvalve.es.

Types of cookies

There are different types of cookies. They all work in the same way, but have small differences:

  • Session Cookies: Session cookies only last for the duration of the user’s visit and are deleted when they close their browser. Their main purpose is to identify the type of device, support website security, and aid the website’s basic functions. They do not contain personal information that allows us to identify someone.
  • Persistent or Permanent Cookies: These are stored on the user’s hard drive and our website reads them every time they visit www.bvalve.es; they have a set expiry date or time frame, after which they cease to function. They enable us to identify a user’s actions and preference, analyse visits, and help us to understand how users reach our website and improve our services.
  • Functional Cookies: These cookies allow www.bvalve.es to remember decisions made by the user, such as their login details or username.

The information that these cookies gather is anonymised (meaning, they do not contain your name, address, or other details).

  • Third-Party Cookies: Third-party cookies are installed on a website different to the one you are visiting; for example, they are used by social networks (such as Facebook) or external content plug-ins (such as Google Maps). In addition, some advertising companies use this type of file to track a user’s visits on each website where they advertise.
  • Analytics Cookies: The purpose of these cookies is to periodically perform maintenance and guarantee the user enjoys optimal performance and service; they do this by gathering data on the user’s activity.
